Despite 150 years of effort, the origin of Grand Canyon is still a mystery for uniformitarian [evolutionist]
scientists. Some
of these problems will be discussed.
Creation scientists have two main theories: the Dam Breach Theory and the Late-Flood Channelized Erosion theory.
However, the Dam Breach Theory has many problems, several of which are likely fatal. Grand Canyon is essentially
a water gap, similar to the thousands of other water gaps across the earth, that can readily be explained by
channelized Flood runoff. The talk will delve into the many difficult aspects of how Grand Canyon was
actually carved by late Flood channelized erosion.
[Editor comment: MCF does not take sides in the Breached-Dam/Channelized-Erosion issue. Basically, both theories accept that the world-wide Flood, a few thousand years ago, led to the creation of the Grand Canyon. The main difference between the theories seems to be whether it was formed immediately after the Flood or some time later, after a giant lake had formed from Flood waters and then emptied catastrophically. We listen to both sides.]
Below are links to a slide and a
printable flyer announcing the meeting, for each venue. If your church uses slides on screen for announcements,
would you ask your pastor to include this? Or it can be used in printed bulletins.
Thank you!
Would your church like to hear Mike Oard on Sunday, June 4? If so, please contact us at info@MidwestCreationFellowship.org.
Do evolutionists really believe what they preach? Dr. Jerry Bergman will share documents from the peer-reviewed secular scientific literature, exposing quotes that state or imply that human evolution is impossible. He will also review why molecules-to-man evolution is accepted by so many Christians, and the harm it has done to the church at large.

Pastors and other interested leaders are invited to a FREE buffet luncheon! There will be a short presentation followed by Q&A time, focusing on how the Bible and science DO agree! Bring your questions, and bring one or more others who need answers!
MCF is doing this because churches are losing about 66% to 85% of Christian young people, and one of the main reasons is that their questions about the Bible and science don't get satisfactory answers. These are the young people in our Sunday Schools and teen groups, who may be leaders today -- but gone soon. Can YOU answer their questions about the Bible and science?
